We are in search of a MET Technician to join our Client’s Bodyshop in Reading!

Our Client is part of a network of Bodyshop Sites across the UK who specialise in Fleet Contracts as opposed to insurance crash repair style work. They are looking for an experienced Panel Beater to join their team in a bodyshop with a great reputation with excellent in-house opportunities to allow you to progress your career to the next level!

Our client is offering the successful MET Technician:
  • Up To £45,000 Salary Depending On Experience 
  • NO Bonus Scheme - NOT A Bonus Bodyshop
  • 4 Day Week!! (Monday To Thursday 6am - 4.30pm) 40 Hour Week
  • Optional Overtime Available But Not Required
  • No Insurance Work - Mostly Fleet Maintenance Contracts

Duties of a MET Technician:
  • Carry out all mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs.
  • Dismantling, fault-finding & diagnostic work.
  • Re-assembly with new parts as required.
  • Inspections and testing.
  • Identify faults or work that is found to be required, or considered to be advisable in the interests of safety.
  • To carry-out road testing of vehicles when required in a safe and legal way as instructed, checking for roadworthiness.
What our Client expects of their MET Technician:
  • Previous experience as a MET Technician
  • Own tools and equipment and PPE
  • ATA qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
