  • Main Dealer 
  • Basic of £34,000 OTE of £40,000
  • Monday - Friday 08:30 - 1700 plus 1-3 Saturday mornings
An excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Technician / Motor Mechanic to join a well-established Main Dealer in Runcorn 

The successful Vehicle Technician will need to have a Level 3 Qualification and experience working in a Main Dealer is preferable. MOT License is an added bonus but not essential!
You must also have a UK Driving License.

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Inspect and Report: Observe, identify, and report on vehicle or component defects, as well as any signs of potential failure.
  • Vehicle Examination: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and provide detailed reports on their condition, safety, reliability, and performance (including MOT assessments).
  • Protect and Inspect Vehicles: Ensure that all vehicles under repair are properly protected against damage. Upon completion of repairs, inspect each vehicle for any damage and cleanliness.
  • Training and Development: Attend relevant training courses as needed and assist in the training of apprentices when assigned.
  • Parts Authorisation: Always seek prior approval before fitting parts to customers’ vehicles that have not been authorised. Return parts for warranty claims and customer inspection as required.
  • Documentation Completion: Ensure that all service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, manufacturer documentation, and electronic records (e.g., PDI sheets) are accurately completed and signed off.
