HGV Technician required in Exeter, Devon 
  • Franchised Commercial Dealership
  • £40,000 - £55,000 basic salary
  • Overtime Available 
  • 40 hour working week, Monday to Friday
  • 1 in 2 Saturday mornings
  • Split Shifts or Late Shifts needed 
  • Overtime guaranteed, paid at x1.5 time
We are currently working with a Successful Commercial Main Dealership in Exeter and they are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join their busy workshop team.

Our client has operated in the Southwest for Decades and is a staple business in the area, well-known for their exceptional customer service and thorough work.

Duties of a HGV Technician with our Client:
  • Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard of quality Servicing vehicles
  • Carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
  • Vehicle Inspections
  • Producing repair time estimates.
  • Vehicle Diagnostics & Fault Finding
  • MOT Preparation on HGVs
  • MOT Inspection on Class 4 & 7
  • Maintaining repair and service records.
What our Client expects of their HGV Technicians:
  • Have an NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds Certifications
  • Previous Experience working with HGVs and/or LCVs
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence
  • Ideally to have a Class 1 HGV licence, though this is not essential 
  • Have own Tools
