Mobile Vehicle DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) Technician required in Bristol. 
  • Starting salary between £32-45,000 per annum pending experience and current earnings.
  • Access to an upsell bonus scheme of up to £500 per month! 
  • Guaranteed 5 day week. Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm, with 1 in 2 Saturdays. Any Saturdays worked you receive a day off in the week.
Our client, an automotive fleet maintenance business that has been operating nationwide since 2008, are currently looking to recruit a Mobile Vehicle DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) Technician to join their mobile team of 14, to help cover the Bristol and surrounding region.
 
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will involve carrying out roadside assistance to customer's vehicles, fleet maintenance, and specialist DPF work, whilst also conducting routine inspections, repairs and servicing. You will be expected to cover a roughly 90-minute radius of the Bristol region. 
  • Perform roadside assistance, fleet maintenance, and specialist DPF work.
  • Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of vehicles.
  • Diagnose and efficiently repair mechanical issues.
  • Use hand and power tools for various repairs and installations.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior Technicians as necessary.
Whilst no formal automotive qualifications are required for our client, given you will be working independent daily you will need to have extensive "time served" experience as a Vehicle Technician. Any experience working in a similar mobile/roadside repair role or any experience working on disel particulate filters would be highly advantageous. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, have your own tools, and be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce high quality of work in a fast-paced and demanding workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
