  • £16-23,000 basic salary with £30-40,000+ annual earnings and company car.
  • Mon to Fri 8:45am-6:00pm with a scheduled day off every week, Sat 9:00am-5:00pm and 1 in 2 Sun 10:00am-4:00pm.

A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a New/Used Car Sales Executive at our client's franchise approved car dealership in Hereford.

Reporting to the Sales Manager and working with a friendly sales and administration support team, as a New/Used Car Sales Executive you will be required to sell new and used vehicles ranging from the UK's best selling car of 2021 to all-electric 9 seaters and everything in between. You will also sell various add-ons, accessories, and finance and insurance products with the aim of reaching and exceeding allocated sales targets and ensuring a high level of customer service. You will be required to keep customers informed of delivery progress of their vehicle and advise customers of any potential delays that may progress. You will be required to resolve any queries which may arise and collect payment from customers before releasing the vehicle. You must explain warranties, aftersales service arrangements, introduce the customer to the Service Department where possible, demonstrate the features of the vehicle and offer any other support that may be required.

Do you need previous car sales experience? In short; no! 

To succeed in this Car Sales Executive role, you will ideally have strong and successful new/used car sales experience (preferably within a franchise approved car dealer environment) however our client is very open to considering candidates with no prior car sales experience but a strong track record in sales/customer service looking to undertake a new challenge. Overall you will need to have a desire to produce results, a commitment to excellence, be able to build outstanding customer relationships, and have a genuine passion to work for the company. You will need to be brand focused, capable of working independently and have the energy and commitment to seek every sales opportunity. A UK driving license with minimal points is essential.

  • Two pay plans available.
  • Option 1: Starting basic salary of £16,000 with £40,000 annual on-target earnings.
  • Option 2: Starting basic salary of £23,000 with £30,000 annual on-target earnings. 
  • Personal company car.
  • 31 days annual holidays allowance (any bank holidays worked you gain a day off in lieu to compensate for it) with your holiday allowance increasing over length of service.
  • Holiday pay based on 12 month average of wages.
