Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester required in Rowley Regis area,
  • Basic salary up to £35,000
  • Bonus potential
  • Monday  - Friday  8am - 5pm with Saturdays 8am - 1pm 
  • Predominantly carrying out MOT's
Our client, an Automotive Service Centre, is currently recruiting for a Mot Tester / Technician to join their busy centre in Rowley Regis, in the West Midlands

Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a team, your responsibilities shall include:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Perform basic vehicle servicing tasks such as oil changes and filter replacements.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of test results and service work.
  • Identify and address any issues found during testing or servicing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding test results and service recommendations.
  • Stay updated on changes in MOT testing regulations and requirements.
For your hard work as a Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester, our client is offering:
  • Up to £35,000 starting annual salary pending experience.
  • Overtime subject to availability and paid at a standard rate.

  • Working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm plus Saturday mornings
For this Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester role, you will need to hold the following 
  • A valid MOT Tester License
  • Basic understanding of servicing and mechanical repairs
  • Previous experience carrying out MOT tests
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and procedures
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team
  • A team player attitude and willingness to support colleagues
  • A full UK driving license
