Our client is a well-known independent garage operating within the Worthing area for over 30 years, they are well respected across Worthing & West Sussex, specialising with the repair of Audi, BMW Mercedes & VW, alongside other popular brands of vehicles.

Our client has a strong reputation within the market and great reputation within the Worthing, Shoreham, Lancing, Littlehampton, and the West Sussex area. They have a successful service operation and due to an acceleration of business require a Vehicle Service Advisor.

They are currently seeking customer focused individuals to assist with ability to sell the benefits of the business the looking for an experienced Car Service Advisor preferably with an interest within the Motor Trade.

We’ve recently started working with this business; however, they are part of a network of independent garages that provides a specific training scheme to accelerate your progression as a Service advisor, investing highly within their staff and business.

Duties of a Service Advisor with our Client: 
  • To handle customer enquiries and queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Qualify service needs and diagnose vehicle running problems where appropriate.
  • Establish understanding and an agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out.
  • Accurately maintain the service department loading system in line with workshop capacity.
  • Manage the handover and administration of loan vehicles. 
  • Explain the work carried out on vehicle ensuring customers full understanding and authorisation.
  • Understand and adhere to manufacturer service requirements.
  • Maintain relevant systems always ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the business.
What our client expects of their Service Advisor: 
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Have a good attitude to work at all times.
  • Strong organisational Skills
  • Ideally experience within the automotive sector
  • Strong customer service skills
  • An understanding of Vehicles and common issues
