As a Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between our customers and the workshop. You’ll manage service bookings, provide updates, and ensure a seamless experience for every customer. With a mix of customer service and administrative responsibilities, no two days will be the same.
Key Responsibilities of the Service Advisor:
- Welcome customers and manage service bookings in a professional and friendly manner.
- Liaise with technicians to coordinate vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Provide regular updates to customers on vehicle progress and associated costs.
- Prepare accurate invoices and complete all necessary documentation.
- Resolve customer queries or concerns promptly, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role, ideally within the automotive sector.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail, especially when preparing invoices and documentation.
- Proficiency with computer systems and service management software.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
- Competitive basic salary of circa £28,500 with OTE £33,000.
- Regular working hours with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota.
