Our client is a franchised Main Dealer looking for an MOT Tester / Prep Technician to join their team in Selby. This is a 40 hour per week role where no weekend working is required.

There will be opportunities for all types of Technician, with packages available to suit your skill level.

What will the successful MOT Tester / Prep Technician do?
  • Carry out servicing, prep work and general repairs.
  • Conduct thorough MOT Tests.
  • Identify faulty components and ensure underlying problems are rectified. 
  • Ensure all consumables are ordered and logged against job cards. 
  • Carry out vehicle health checks and basic diagnostics. 
  • Be able to work independently and as part of the team when required.
  • Maintain an awareness of the importance and implication of ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
The successful MOT Tester / Prep Technician will have
  • Minimum Level 2 Qualification or equivalent.
  • MOT license desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Own set of tools.
  • Experience working within a workshop.
The successful MOT Tester / Prep Technician will get
  • Basic salary of up to £30,000.
  • OTE of c. £35,000.
  • NO WEEKENDS - Monday-Friday role.
  • Range of packages available to suit different skill levels.
