My client is a respected main dealer in the Wellingborough area. They are currently looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join their growing team.

The Parts Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the Parts Department within the main car dealership. This position involves providing excellent customer service, accurately identifying and supplying automotive parts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities of a Parts Advisor:
  • Assist customers in the accurate identification and purchase of automotive parts.
  • Provide expert advice on parts compatibility and selection.
  • Locate and retrieve automotive parts based on customer requests and vehicle specifications.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels in the Parts Department to meet customer demands.
  • Cultivate and nurture positive relationships with parts suppliers and vendors.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all parts transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Preferred previous experience in a Parts Advisor role or similar position within the automotive industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive parts and their compatibility with various vehicle models.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in utilising parts cataloging systems and inventory management software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adept at multitasking.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for record-keeping accuracy.
