  • Location: Bromsgrove
  • Salary: Up to £18 per hour depending on experience + overtime
  • Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday with overtime available - 40 & 45 hour per week contracts available
  • Benefits: 20 Days holiday + bank holidays, pensions, flexible working options, death in service (4x salary)
My client based in Bromsgrove has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Panel Beater to join their workshop team! The successful Panel Beater will have the chance to work with a great team and use their expertise to help maintain and repair vehicles. 

Responsibilities of the Panel Beater:
  • Perform replacement and restoration of bodywork panels affected by damage or wear.
  • Execute comprehensive repairs to chassis and framework structures.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle damage and apply appropriate techniques to achieve top-notch repairs.
  • Perform necessary repairs to bumpers and doors as per specifications.
  • Ensure all panel beating and repair tasks meet stringent quality standards set by both internal protocols and external regulations.
  • Collaborate within a team to optimise efficiency and safety in body shop operations.
  • Skillfully handle tasks such as panel replacement, straightening, filling, and alignment to restore vehicle integrity.
  • Utilise welding, bonding, and filler techniques for seamless repairs.
  • Execute dent removal and pin pulling with precision.
  • Maintain clean, organised workspaces adhering to health and safety guidelines to mitigate potential hazards.
Requirements of the Panel Beater:
  • ATA would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong ability to meet quality standards and efficiency targets.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Quality awareness
