SMART Repair Technician Needed in Bury
  • Location: Bury
  • Salary: £26,000 to £33,900 (depending on experience) + bonus
  • Working Hours: Flexible shifts, including 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM)

Our client, a leading automotive business, is seeking a talented and experienced SMART Repair Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a great environment with plenty of scope for progression. You’ll be responsible for carrying out high-quality SMART repairs, including cosmetic repairs, refurbishing vehicles, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

As a SMART Repair Technician, you will:
  • Perform a wide range of SMART repairs, including fixing scratches, refurbishing alloy wheels, repairing windscreen chips, and interior refurbishments.
  • Ensure all repairs meet the highest quality standards, working within set timescales.
  • Assist with the introduction of new methods and efficient ways of working in the repair process.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure clear understanding of repairs.
What We’re Looking For in a SMART Repair Technician:
  • Essential: Previous experience as a SMART Repair Technician.
  • Advantageous: Experience in a body shop environment.
  • Essential: Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work with various tools and heavy equipment.
  • A strong passion for delivering high-quality work with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Ability to work well as part of a strong, established team.
