- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Shift/rota work, flexibility discussed at interview. Overtime available.
- Salary: £30,000/annum
Key Responsibilities for a Welder:
- Weld products from a variety of materials such as alloy, mild steel, and stainless steel
- Measure, cut, and finish welded works to high standards
- Maintain your own tools and workstation to ensure safe working conditions
- Ensure the work area is clean, tidy, and free from fire hazards
- Train other team members when applicable
- Use hand tools including grinders, circular saws, and band saws
- Work independently, setting timelines and maintaining high-quality standards
- Ensure compliance with H&S, quality control procedures, and company standards
- Be proactive in carrying out any other reasonable tasks assigned by management
- At least 2 years of welding experience (preferred)
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing process
- Own tools and equipment
