Diagnostic Technician Technician Vacancy - Leicester Main Dealer
  • Basic Salary: Circa £40,000
  • OTE: £45,000+
  • Individual bonus PLUS Team/workshop bonus
  • Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm 
  • 1 in 4 Saturday Mornings, paid as overtime 
  • Salary flexible for highly skilled applicants, Master techs, MOT testers etc. 
My client is a Highly successful main dealership located in Leicester. They are now looking to take on a qualified Diagnostic Technician to join their modern and well-kept workshop. They offer excellent training opportunities such as EV training. They also offer salary/role progression and excellent job security.

They are a close-knit main dealer housing a fantastic franchise. As such, they have a large focus on staff wellbeing and treat their staff like family. They are offering an excellent basic salary as well as a bonus structure which is currently being expanded upon. 

Diagnostic Technician Responsibilities: 
  • General maintenance, repairs, servicing
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and effectively
  • Perform any necessary repairs or services, preventative and reactive repairs as per the customers request. 
  • Work efficiently, with a keen eye for detail updating check list in line with dealership standards.
  • Liaise with the Service Department regarding expected completion times.
  • Being a team player and offering assistant in busy times 
Ideal Diagnostic Technician candidates:
  • Qualified Technician Level 3.
  • Proven experience working within a workshop as a Technician.
  • Ideally have an MOT License (not required)
  • Strong diagnostic skills with a commitment to delivering high standards of work
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently
