Senior Vehicle Technician Needed in Stockport
  • Location: Stockport, Cheshire
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm, Saturday mornings on a rota basis
  • Salary: £47,600 OTE (Basic £32,000 - £39,000 + OTE Bonus of £6,600 + £2,000 for EV qualification
Our client, a well-established Renault dealership, is looking for a Senior Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company that values career progression and is committed to providing high-quality training and support. If you are an
NVQ Level 3 qualified technician, with additional certifications (including MOT testing or EV qualification), we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities for a Senior Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle health checks using the latest technology
  • Perform MOTs in line with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
  • Carry out additional repairs once authorised by the customer
  • Road test vehicles to ensure all faults are resolved
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard
To be a Successful Senior Technician, You Will Need:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Motor Vehicle Technology
  • Previous experience as a mechanic (dealer or independent garage)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT testing and EV qualification are highly desirable, but not essential
  • Motivated, ambitious, and eager to develop within a fast-paced environment
