Vehicle Preparation Technician – Canterbury Prestige Main Dealer
  • Salary: £32,500 - £33,000 + Bonus (additional hourly rate for every hour sold)
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (42.5 hours per week)
  • Overtime: Available early mornings & Saturdays (March & September are peak periods)
  • Requirements: NVQ Level 3 qualification (minimum)
Join Our Growing Team! Our client, a Prestige Main Dealer in Canterbury, is looking to expand their Vehicle Preparation Centre by adding skilled Vehicle Preparation Technicians to their team. With an existing team of 9 Technicians, they are looking to grow to 12 to meet the increasing demand for both new and used vehicle preparation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Technicians from all backgrounds – whether you're from an Independent Garage, Fast-Fit, or another Retailer – what matters most is your attitude and work ethic.

What we require from a Vehicle Preparation Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Experience in servicing, maintenance, and repairs – whether from Main Dealer, Independent, or Fast-Fit
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude – efficiency and productivity are key
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player mindset with the drive to improve workshop performance
  • A full UK driving licence
Your Role as a Vehicle Preparation Technician:
  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on new & used vehicles
  • Perform warranty work and safety checks
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to maximise productivity
  • Play a key role in strengthening the New & Used Car Prep Centre
  • Get involved in the company’s upcoming EV Centre development
