Our client, an independent accident repair business in Rochester, Kent, is seeking an experienced Automotive MET Technician to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnostics, stripping and fitting vehicle parts & bodywork, ensuring all repairs are completed to a high standard.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of manufacturer-approved vehicles, including Audi, Citroen, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Seat, Skoda, Vauxhall & VW. The business is also looking for Volkswagen-trained High Voltage Vehicle Technicians who want to transition into accident repair.

Duties of a Vehicle MET Technician with our client:
  • Stripping and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and industry standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
  • Working efficiently to meet job completion deadlines
  • Reporting additional damage found during the stripping process
What our client expects of their Vehicle MET Technician:
  • Proven experience in MET Stripping & Fitting
  • ATA, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications preferred - Please note you would have had to renewed your qualificaitons within the past 4 years to comply with our clients BSI requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to high standards
