LCV Technician Vacancy - Northampton Commercial Van Dealership
  • Position: LCV Technician 
  • Location: Northampton
  • Basic Salary: £34,000 + Bonus
  • OTE: £40,000+ (uncapped)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays (Paid at time and a half)
  • Level 3 Qualification required to apply. 
Our client, a Main Dealer in the Northampton area, is currently looking to hire an experienced LCV / Van Technician for their busy Automotive Workshop. They're a leading dealership group in the country and are constantly expanding their business.

They offer their LCV Technicians a time-saved bonus scheme meaning if you're able to get more than 45 hours worth of work done in the week, you can start earning big money! If you're a Technician who knows you're efficient, you can earn serious money with this company. For example if you complete 60hrs worth of work in the 45 hour work week, you'll earn around £600 bonus for the week. This is uncapped, so if you're very efficient, you can earn a lot more. 
 
LCV Technician responsibilities Include:
  • Servicing Vans – carrying out checks and maintenance.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
  • Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs.
  • Maintaining repair and service records.
  • Diagnosing the cause of a problem.
  • Repairing the problem in line with the manufacturer's standards.
  • Repairing and replacing vehicle components.
  • Testing existing and repaired systems.
To be considered for this LCV Technician role, you must be:
  • Qualified Level 3 or above in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Strong skills with general maintenance, repair and some knowledge with diagnostics/fault finding in passenger vehicles or LCV
  • Confident in being able to advise both technicians, service advisors and customers
  • A Full UK Driving License 
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment and experience  within a main dealer
  • Able to make on the spot decisions, with the customers and company at best interests in mind
