- Location: Stockport
- Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Day Shifts Only. Overtime available, paid at time and a half.
- Salary: £42,000 per annum OTE (Basic £36k per annum + £2,400 per annum bonus OTE + Overtime)
Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
- Maintain and repair a variety of vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for customer hire.
- Carry out diagnostics and repairs on all vehicle types in the fleet.
- Perform regular vehicle checks and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain high standards of vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure efficient service delivery with quick turnaround times in a well-equipped workshop.
- Utilise your expertise to solve mechanical, electrical, and system issues efficiently.
- Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years’ experience, or fully qualified Level 3 Technician/Mechanic.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, particularly in a commercial or fleet environment.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on a variety of vehicles.
- Strong communication skills, working effectively within a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Internal IMI accredited training department with opportunities to upskill in Hybrid & EV vehicle repair, braking systems, electrics, and more.
- Personalised training programmes available for those at Level 2 qualification.
