MET Technician- Busy Accident Repair Centre in Wakefield
  • Basic Salary up to £37,000
  • OTE £52,000
  • Overtime Available
  • No Weekends
  • Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00 
  • Must hold an ATA or an NVQ qualification. 
  • 30 Days Annual Leave including Bank Holidays

Our client is a large accident repair centre in Wakefield. They are currently looking to add an experienced MET Technician to their growing team. The ideal MET Technician candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience and will hold an ATA or an NVQ qualification. 

Benefits for the successful MET Technician:
  • Basic Salary up to £37,000 
  • OTE £52,000
  • Monday-Friday working week

What our Client expects of their MET Technician:
  • 3 Years previous experience in a similar role.
  • ATA or NVQ would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic would be ideal. 
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 is desirable but longstanding experience would be welcomed. 
Responsibilities of an MET Technician:
  • Ensure that stripping and rebuilding work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner and that quality checks are undertaken in line with the process.
  • Ensure that all jobs are completed within the estimated times.
  • Advise the Manager of any additional work identified when working on a vehicle.
  • Check that all parts are ordered correctly as per estimate, to ensure that the repair can be completed without delay, returning all unused parts to the Estimators for credit.
  • To be aware of and adhere to all the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations
