  • Salary: Up to £42,300 Basic DOE + £10k OTE based on 100% productivity
  • Hours: 40 hours per week + 1 in 4 Saturday mornings on a rota basis
We are currently working with a well-established Motor Trade Dealership, which has been operating in the European market for over 90 years and is rapidly expanding its UK operation. This is an exciting time to join our client’s Dealership operation for a career-minded motor trade professional. They are seeking a Vehicle Service Technician with at least 2 years of vehicle technician/mechanical experience, preferably within a Main Dealer environment, though applicants from Service Centres or similar environments will also be considered. This is an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Service Technician to join a company that prioritises the satisfaction and development of its employees, with excellent rewards and a supportive work environment.

Within this Vehicle Service Technician role, your day-to-day duties will include:
  • Performing routine vehicle servicing, including oil changes, brake inspections, tyre replacements, and fluid checks.
  • Conducting general mechanical repairs on engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
  • Performing pre-MOT checks and ensuring vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
  • Carrying out road tests to ensure vehicles are operating correctly after maintenance.
  • Using workshop tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
  • Collaborating with senior technicians and workshop controllers to prioritise and complete tasks.
  • Keeping detailed records of work carried out and parts used in each repair.
  • Advising customers on necessary repairs and vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Ensuring all service and repair work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
