- Salary: Up to £35,000 Basic (DOE)
- Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM + Saturday Morning Rota
As a Tyre Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customers' vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and performing at their best. Your responsibilities will include:
- Fitting and balancing new tyres to a variety of vehicles, ensuring precision and safety.
- Conducting tyre inspections, identifying wear, damage, and recommending replacements where necessary.
- Performing puncture repairs and ensuring tyres meet road safety standards.
- Providing expert advice to customers on tyre selection, maintenance, and longevity.
- Ensuring correct tyre pressures and performing quality checks before vehicles are returned to customers.
- Maintaining an organised, safe, and clean work environment.
- Minimum two years' experience as a Tyre Fitter within an independent garage, dealership, or fast-fit centre.
- Experience in wheel alignment is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of different tyre brands and specifications.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to health and safety standards.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
