For this Parts Advisor role you will need:
- Valid, clean driving license
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

- First point of contact for production and manufacturing employees
- Assist with parts ordering and allocation to avoid delays
- Knowledge of fast-paced parts department in the manufacturing industry
- Highly organized to support parts manager with accurate stock takes
- Efficient management of parts warehouse operations
- Oversee retail parts sales from initial enquiry to invoicing, ensuring prompt payment collection
- Act as a customer advisor, providing support and guidance
- Manage all parts requirements for internal departments effectively
- Provide high-level customer service through email, phone, and in-person interactions for retail sales
- Order parts for both sites (20 bays), including stock and any special requirements
- Handle order picking and parts allocation
- Manage bespoke part orders as required
- Produce bespoke reports for accounts and management teams
- Create works orders for external suppliers
- Book parts to the relevant jobs in the absence of the Parts Manager
- Conduct monthly audits to ensure accurate parts costs and nominal codes
- Oversee goods in and delivery note management within the system
- Ensure goods out and stock allocations are recorded in the system
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records
- Raise and manage purchase orders
- Perform invoice checks to ensure accuracy
- Drive work van when required
- Handle telephone enquiries and administrative duties as needed
