Our client is a franchise commercial vehicle dealer group with multiple centres across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Technician for their centre in Stoke-on-Trent.

They are a leading company with a good reputation and execellent benefits.

Within this HGV Technician vacancy, your main duties include: 
  • Experienced HGV technician with a minimum of two years in the field
  • Proficient in servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy goods vehicles
  • Skilled in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to conduct MOT preparations and ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards
  • Knowledgeable about safety procedures and regulations related to HGV maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and clients
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in HGV maintenance and repair are preferre
To be considered for this HGV Technician vacancy, you must have:
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar setting
  • Ideally qualified to a Level 3 standard
  • Full UK driving licence. 
  • Ideally Class 1 License
