Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Kettering Independent Garage
  • Basic Salary: Up to £40,000 + Overtime
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 38-hour week
  • Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate (including weekend work)
Our client, a busy independent garage in Kettering, is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. Specialising in AC/HVAC cooling systems, they also provide general repairs, servicing, and maintenance on all makes and models, including EVs.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carry out servicing and maintenance on various makes and models
  • Work on AC/HVAC cooling systems
  • Perform MOT preparation and repairs
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Experience with AC and EV systems (preferred but not essential)
  • Background in a Main Dealer or independent garage
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Vehicle Technician Benefits:
