Fleet Maintenance Vehicle Technician Required in Wimbledon!
  • Basic Salary: £34,000 + £50,000 OTE 
  • Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday + breaks + overtime (anything over 40 hours is paid as overtime) 
Are you ready to be part of an exciting project? Our client a industry leading Rental and Fleet Workshop is opening in Wimbledon, and are looking for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Vehicle Technician to join their team to handle preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs.

As the Fleet Maintenance Vehicle Technician, your role will focus on servicing and preventative maintenance, primarily on cars, vans and light commercial vehicles. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and maintaining fleet vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring they are kept roadworthy and operational for our clients customers.

In this workshop environment, you'll work closely with management to set up the best tools and processes, helping to create an efficient, well-organised workspace.

Key responsibilities of the Fleet Vehicle Technician:
  • Routine servicing and maintenance of cars, vans and light commercial vehicles.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs.
  • Working with management to select workshop tooling and diagnostic equipment.
  • Implementing a smooth workflow to maintain high productivity.
What our client is looking for:
  • Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with experience working on vans or light commercial vehicles.
  • A full, valid UK driving licence.
  • Own tools
  • A proactive team player who is eager to contribute to the success of a new workshop.
