Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Derby
  • Basic salary: up to £40,000 DOE
  • Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm
  • Early Finish on a Friday
  • No weekends
  • Option for overtime Available and paid at time and a half 
Our client, a successful Car Supermarket, are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team in Derby. They are a company who offer excellent progression, career development and job security. 

They have opportunities available for all levels of Technicians, so whether you're looking for a role in service or diagnostics and everything in-between, this company is a great option for you. 

Responsibilities vary with skillset, but generally include:
  • Carry out service works and vehicle health checks.
  • Carry out Vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Prep work, PDI Checks, prepping all vehicles ready for sale.
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment 
  • You'll be working on different makes and models
  • Carrying out repairs such as clutch and cambelt replacements 
The ideal Vehicle Technician will have:
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification with at least 3 years workshop experience 
  • Excellent technical knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence is essential 
  • Own set of tools
  • Experienced with diagnostics
The successful Vehicle Technician will get:
  • Basic salary: up to £40,000 DOE
  • Overtime paid at time and a half - not obligatory
  • 22 days' holiday, plus bank holidays, rising with service
  • Monday to Friday - No weekends!
