Our client, an Automotive Main Dealer in Hastings, East Sussex, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity with strong earning potential and the chance to work within a supportive management structure.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and servicing to manufacturer standards
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and ensure accurate repairs
  • Liaise with customers to understand and address concerns when required
  • Ensure safe working practices at all times
  • Complete relevant service documentation, job sheets, and reports
  • Maintain high standards of workshop cleanliness and organisation
  • Mentor and support less experienced colleagues, where applicable
What our Client expects from their Vehicle Technicians:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair (or equivalent)
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
  • Main dealer experience preferred but not essential
  • MOT Testing Licence desirable but not required
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to use initiative, work independently, and manage workload effectively
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
  • Full UK driving licence
