  • Basic Salary: £43,000(dependent on experience)
  • OTE: £48,000, inclusive of bonuses
  • Working Hours: 40 per week
  • Monday to Friday only.

Perfect Placement is excited to be supporting a leading accident repair centre in Mansfield with their search for a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) / Bodyshop Estimator. This reputable bodyshop, which is fully approved by major insurance companies, offers an ideal working environment for those seeking career growth in the automotive repair industry.

Key Responsibilities for the VDA / Estimator Role:
  • Assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate repair cost estimates by working closely with customers, insurance adjusters, and repair teams.
  • Creating detailed repair estimates and liaising with insurance companies for approval, ensuring repairs meet the highest industry standards.
  • Managing the repair process, keeping customers and other relevant parties informed about progress.
  • Delivering top-tier customer service and overseeing the quality of repairs to maintain high standards of work.
To succeed in this Vehicle Damage Assessor role, you'll need:
  • Experience in estimating within a bodyshop or accident repair setting.
  • Competence in using Audatex for estimating purposes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency with computer software used for estimating and invoicing.
  • A solid understanding of the insurance industry and its associated regulations.
  • A qualification in Damage Assessing is desirable (ATA qualification is a plus, but training can be provided).
