Mobile Mechanic / Vehicle Technician required in Harlow, Essex.

Our client is one of the most successful Mobile Vehicle Repair Services in the UK, they are looking for a skilled Mobile Mechanic / Vehicle Technician who wants to move into a role covering the Harlow and surrounding area working on vehicles at customer premises.

This role will ideally suit a Vehicle Technician who is looking for more flexible working hours, autonomy in your role, happy to work directly with customers to find the best resolution and the variety of something different each day!

Responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Covering a defined geographical location doing diagnostics, brakes, servicing.
  • Day-to-day you will leave your home, drive to collect the parts for that day then drive to first job.
  • Every day is different, different people and surroundings and locations as well as great job satisfaction as you repair the vehicles at customer premises.
  • Best thing about this role is the freedom!
  • You will work at customers homes or place of work.
  • Good Flexibility of working times – its more Monday to Friday type role.
  • Offer a good work/life balance having the weekends to yourself.
Details & Benefits of this Mobile Mechanic / Vehicle Technician vacancy:
  • A competitive base salary of £38,625 p.a.
  • Overall earnings with bonus and overtime of £48,000 p.a.
  • Work pattern of 40-hours weekly, Monday to Saturday between 8am - 8pm, Saturdays will be worked on a fair rota basis.
  • 23 days annual leave rising to 25 with service, plus bank holidays.

To be successful in this role you will need:
  • A minimum of a Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 3 years time served as a Vehicle Technician within a professional Automotive Workshop.
  • Demonstrative a strong technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
  • A customer focused and problem-solving approach.
  • Be happy and able to work alone.
  • A full UK driving licence.
The successful Mobile Mechanic / Vehicle Technician will be enrolled on to a 6 week training programme, this will involve classroom-based training, from the start, once completed you will them move out to working on a mobile basis.
