Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their expanding team and business in the York (north yorkshire area)

For this role you will need:
  • Full uk driving license 
  • Strong understanding of both premium and volume car products
  • Ability to engage with customers who value a personal, customer-first approach
  • Skilled in motivating and developing a sales team to exceed targets
  • Positive and encouraging leadership style
  • Commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage all aspects of a car sales department
For this role you will be:
  • Conduct daily professional sales meetings to align and motivate the team
  • Regularly walk the site and showroom with a keen eye for detail and improvement opportunities
  • Provide consistent 1-to-1 coaching to support and develop the sales team
  • Carry out regular diary reviews, ensuring detailed analysis of team activity and progress
  • Monitor and manage branch and staff KPIs to drive performance
  • Build strong professional relationships with manufacturer representatives
  • Ensure the team operates within franchise standards and framework
  • Lead training and development initiatives to enhance the skills of the sales team
  • Engage directly with customers to guarantee an outstanding experience
