Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- Service and maintain plant and other agricultural machinery to the manufacturers specifications and to ensure machine reliability and safety.
- Successfully diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain and various other faults prior to initiating and completing a repair.
- Have a keen eye for detail, reporting machine defects and upselling the services provided by the company wherever possible.
- Operate diagnostic software via a laptop computer when required (training will be given).
- Complete a detailed report of work completed along with supporting photographs and documenting of all worked times.
Details & Benefits include:
- Salary up to £39,000 p.a. depending on experience.
- 40hr week - Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, 1hr unpaid lunch.
- Overtime available especially during peak season.
- 24 days holiday allowance plus 8 bank holidays per year.
- Contributory pension plan - 7% employer and 3% employee contributions.
- Provided with a dedicated service van.
