Salary: £38,500 per annum (non-negotiable for parity)
Bonus: Company-wide profit share – typically adds up to £2,000/year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

The Company: Our client is a thriving, independently run mechanical and accident repair centre based in Sutton, Greater London. With 13 dedicated staff members across both mechanical and bodyshop departments, they offer a friendly, cooperative workplace where everyone pulls together. Operating from a 3-ramp workshop and supported by a knowledgeable front-of-house team (including a Master Technician handling customer-facing duties), they’re now looking to welcome a talented Vehicle Technician into their tight-knit crew.
The Role: As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll handle a variety of mechanical work across all makes and models, including:
- Servicing, general maintenance, and mechanical repairs
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Supporting workshop efficiency as part of a close-knit team
What’s on Offer:
- £38,500 basic salary – fixed to maintain team parity
- Company-wide profit share bonus – typically adds ~£2,000 p.a. in good years
- 40-hour work week – no weekends
- 21 days holiday + bank holidays
- Business closes over Christmas & New Year (some days taken from holiday, others fully paid!)
- Opportunity to earn up to £550 in referral commission for non-fault accident claims via their successful in-house scheme

Who We’re Looking For:
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 2 or 3 NVQ/IMI or equivalent) preferred
- Consideration given to newly qualified or less experienced techs – salary would reflect this
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Honest, professional attitude with a sense of pride in your work
