Are you a skilled Automotive Prepper/Polisher with an eye for detail and pride in your finish? Want to work in a friendly, no-pressure environment where your work speaks for itself? Look no further!

We’re looking for an experienced Paint Prepper & Vehicle Polisher to join our clients independent, family-run Bodyshop near Croydon. Please note: this is not a painter role – we’re after someone who specialises in prep and polishing only.

You’ll be responsible for preparing vehicles before painting and polishing them to a flawless finish. You’ll work alongside our Panel and Paint teams to make sure every vehicle leaves the workshop looking its absolute best.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Full prep work – sanding, masking, panel cleaning and final decontamination
  • Polishing freshly painted vehicles to remove defects, runs or imperfections
  • Using cutting compounds and machine polishers to achieve showroom-standard results
  • Working carefully and efficiently to ensure consistency and a flawless finish
  • Supporting the rest of the paint team where needed to keep jobs flowing
What Our Client is Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Prepper and/or Polisher
  • Confident using polishing tools and prepping materials
  • Great attention to detail – your finish matters!
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and able to commute daily to the Croydon area
