We are seeking a HGV Workshop Controller to join our Client's Family Run Independent Commercial Business in the Bracknell area. Our Client specialise in a variety of work within the Automotive Industry. The work ranges from Commercial Vehicles, to Plant Hire, and Agricultural. They are a family run Independent Company with a small team in the workshop (under 5 people) with a long-standing history dating back 50 years, so it is vital they have the right attitude and want to feel valued as part of the team and not just a number!

Our Client is offering the successful HGV Workshop Controller:
  • Up To £40,000 Salary
  • 7am - 5pm Monday To Friday ONLY! (45 Hour Week)
  • 90% Workshop Controller / 10% HGV Technician Productive On The Tools (Helping Out If Needed)
  • Previous HGV Background Required - Must Have Technical Knowledge

Duties of a HGV Workshop Controller with our Client:
  • Leading a small team of HGV Technicians whilst also remaining productive on the tools 
  • Performance of all maintenance services according to the manufacturer's instructions and according to the maintenance schedule.
  • All visual inspections, adjustment operations, adjustments, operating fluid changes and additions, replacement of worn equipment.
  • Responsible for repairing and servicing of Commercial vehicles booked into the workshop.
  • Diagnosing faults on  HGV's
What our Clients expect of their HGV Workshop Controller:
  • Previous HGV Technician experience
  • City & Guild / NVQ or equivalent HGV Qualifications
  • A stable background working with HGVs
  • Full UK driving license
