I’m Max and I joined Perfect Placement in December 2024 as an Automotive Recruitment Executive. The region I cover is Cheshire and Staffordshire, working alongside Managing Consultant Matt Cross.

Prior to joining Perfect Placement I had an 8-year career in the Royal Marines. Although a lot of my career had nothing to do with recruitment, the last two years of service were in a Recruit and Attract role. I really enjoyed interacting with potential candidates and being involved with their journey all the way up until they started the arduous 36-week commando course. In between my Royal Marine Career and Perfect Placement, I had a short stint as a Car Sales Executive. I really enjoyed the customer interaction and ultimately fulfilling people’s needs. This gave me a good understanding on how the Automotive industry works.

In my spare time I am a father to my 3 amazing sons Harry, Alfie and Leo. As you can imagine a lot of my time is consumed with parenting. However, my partner and I are still very sociable and still love to get out when we can to spend time with friends and family. I am a keen sportsman, playing rugby most of my life and going on ski holidays with my family.
