I joined Perfect Placement in August 2016 and now work as a Managing Consultant, covering Northern Ireland and ROI, Scotland, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and the S, DN, YO HG and HU post codes.  I also supervise a wider team of regional managers.  I have developed a knowledge of the trade and the region that enables me to provide an excellent service to both candidate and client.

My route to Perfect Placement took me via the University of East Anglia, where I completed a PhD in History, and also included a spell at the University of Miami.  My academic experience gave me the communication and organisational skills that ensure my clients and candidates receive the professional service that I pride myself on.

Beyond the workplace, I am a keen traveller – I love getting out into the world to see new places and meet new people – and I also enjoy seeking new experiences.  This impulse has seen me climb a volcano in Iceland, appear on TV’s Countdown, and accidentally end up in a minefield in Bosnia.

In my downtime, I will be found weightlifting in the gym, at home with a book in my hand, on the cricket pitch where I am into my third decade of club cricket and captain of a Norwich-based side, or listening to music – favourite artists include Iron Maiden, Johnny Cash and Pink Floyd; favourite composers include Camille Saint-Saens and Gustav Holst.
