A Vehicle Fleet Sales Manager is based in a Dealership but depending on the size of the sales team may be involved in prospecting and attending meetings with new and existing clients. As a business to business sales role, a successful Fleet Sales Manager will need to have expert relationship skills with customers ranging from company car drivers, key fleet decision managers including managing and financial directors.
This role is fast paced and target driven. You will report into the General Manager and be expected to ensure the Sales Team provide the highest level of customer service at all times in order to attract and retain new business. A Vehicle Fleet Sales Manager should have a high level of knowledge of FCA regulations and LCV price negation and funding methods.
Typical working hours for a Fleet Sales Manager are around 40 hours per week generally Monday – Friday and they tend to earn a good salary, topped up by generous bonuses.
