Our client, a long established independent garage group with multiple branches across the South & South East, dealing with all makes of models of vehicles are seeking a Dedicated MOT Tester for their branch in Brighton.

They are a well-respected automotive business, with multiple sites across the East Sussex area, providing a whole range of automotive services.

Our client has a great reputation for creating a friendly working environment, away from the day-to-day pressures of Manufacturers and Dealer Groups. They offer a supportive environment, to help develop your skills with the workshop further.

Duties of a MOT Tester with our Client:
  • Carry out MOTs on a regular basis within the 30 min allocated time slots, in accordance with company and brand expectations.
  • Completes repair and service records/other appropriate activities the Team Leader and Manager required.
  • Actively supports company policy and best practice in security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
What our client expects of their MOT Tester:
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance or Similar – with MOT Testing Licence
  • To provide basic tooling and equipment, or be able to purchase own basic tooling and equipment prior to employment
  • Ideally an A willingness to learn new skills
  • Organisational skills, and work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of the motor trade
  • Good team player
  • Full UK driving licence (Necessity)
