Reporting to the Group Support Manager, you will primarily be based at the nearest dealership to your home address within our client’s dealer group and will be providing support for peak workloads and holiday cover to our client’s several dealerships across the Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and occasionally Gloucestershire region.
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be carrying out service, MOT and repair work for all makes of light vehicles. Please note you are not expected to be a Mobile Vehicle Technician visiting customers and your diary will be controller centrally by the Group Support Manager.
In order to be eligible for this Vehicle Technician role you will need to live at the most an hour from one of our client’s dealerships in the Herefordshire/Worcestershire region. You will need to be fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum and hold at least three years’ experience in a similar Vehicle Technician role. You will need to hold a UK driving license with a minimal point and be comfortable working in a “floating” capacity where you might need to work at another dealership within the group at within a day or two notice (however most work will pre-booked so you will know far in advance). An active MOT smart card would be advantageous however is non-essential.
