MOT Tester Required for Family Run Service Centre in Aldershot, Hampshire 
  • Pay: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
  • Hours: 8am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
We are currently working with a Family Owned Automotive Repairing Car Workshop Business in the Aldershot area who is currently looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join their team of MOT Testers, Vehicle Mechanics, Diagnostic Technicians and Electric Vehicle Specialists in a busy and fast paced Automotive Workshop team.

Our client boasts an excellent reputation with customers, employees and local businesses in their area with an ever growing loyal customer base. The ideal applicant will have at least 5 years experience in a workshop environment and capable of diagnostics and mechanical repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles in their well equipped workshop team.  This is an important role to the success of the business, as such, the rewards and benefits they offer set them apart from other Garages in their local area.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Experienced MOT Tester considering a new position to join a company that is committed to ensuring their staff enjoy their working day. They reward highly and put their employees at the forefront of all they do.

Within this MOT Tester role your typical duties will include: 
  • Being Site responsible and a keyholder to the business
  • Ensure all MOT's are carried out in line with government agency guidelines to ensure full compliance
  • Conduct MOT's in line with DVSA guidelines and to adhere to company policies 
  • Monitoring roadworthiness (suspension, safety systems, lights etc and emissions  
  • Ensure all work is carried out and adhering to health and safety within the workshop 
  • Report vehicle mileage, defects and emissions - advising service receptionists of work needed to pass MOT's
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 17:00pm. Salary of up to £36k is on offer for the right candidate with the relevant experience with overtime available.
