Our client, a multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealership situated in Gloucester, are currently looking to recruit an Aftersales Manager to join their business.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, as the Aftersales Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our client's aftersales operation with a view to achieve and exceed targets set whilst ensuring the highest level of  service to our client's customers.

Further accountabilities will include:
  • Setting the standards for compliance, behaviour and work ethics that place the customer at the heart of everything our client does.
  • Identifying and seeking new business and retaining current business for our client. 
  • Providing strong leadership that helps achieve the required performance standards and successful outcomes.
  • Ensuring that customers’ vehicles are serviced, maintained and repaired to agreed standards and to planned schedules.
  • Maintaining appropriate relationships with local service/repair and local accident repair contractors.
  • Delivering people performance management in accordance with our client's policies and procedures with a view to improve short, medium and long term performance.
  • Continually analysing costs and drive new cost saving initiatives across our client.
The successful candidate will live within a reasonable commuting distance of Gloucester and have strong recent or current experience working as a Service or Aftersales Manager within a medium to large franchise approved automotive dealership. You will need to be effective in managing and supporting colleagues and have the drive and determination to maintain policies that constantly improve customer satisfaction and our client's reputation. You will need to be IT literate and have a UK driving license with minimal points. Any prior experience within a commercial vehicle dealership or fleet maintenance company would be highly beneficial but is non-essential.
