  • Starting salary up to £40,000 per annum.
  • 45 hour week Monday to Friday and Saturdays on a rota.

Our client, a multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealership situated in Gloucester, are currently looking to recruit a Workshop Controller to join their business.

Reporting to the Service Manager, as a Workshop Controller you will be fully responsible for running the day-to-day function of our client's workshops, planning, controlling and delivering overall workshop performance. You will motivate and supervise a team of HGV Technicians ensuring safety, standards and efficiency by the team each day. You will also work closely with the Service Advisors to ensure all works booked in is achievable and planned to meet customer expectation, industry standards and HGV Technician workflow.

In order to be eligible, you will need to have a proven track record in running a large and successful vehicle workshop for at least two to three years. Experience workshop controlling within a franchise approved commercial vehicle dealership would be highly advantageous however is non-essential. Overall you will have excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills and team orientation, be results orientated, have problem solving and decision making skills, put a focus on quality and reliability, and be IT literate. You will also need to have a UK driving license with minimal points.
