Reporting to senior management and working as part of a friendly team, in the role of an Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Matching/checking/coding invoices.
- Processing payments (individual and supplier-run).
- Liaising with external suppliers and internal colleagues for queries.
- Posting bank statements.
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Setting up new suppliers and maintaining existing details.
- Filing paperwork.
- Clearing warranty invoices.
- Investigating outstanding creditors.
- Assist in audit preparation/submissions.
- Assist the accounting team and admin team when required.
- Querying price increase/unusual spend.
