Senior Technician Vacancy - Northampton Independent Garage 
  • Salary: £45,000 
  • Monday - Thursday 8:00am -  5:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Overtime available. 
  • No weekends worked!
My client is a family run independent garage located just outside of Northampton. They have a very strong reputation as one of the best independents in Northamptonshire, they pride themselves on their workshop team with some of the most highly skilled technicians in the area. 

They now have a vacancy for a Vehicle Technician and are looking for someone with a good amount of workshop experience. Ideally you will have experience with a variety of franchises and be fully qualified. 

Responsibilities of this Senior Technician role:
  • Completing all repairs related to Vehicle Servicing, including cambelts. 
  • Pre-MOT inspection, diagnostics.
  • Inspect vehicles for wear and tear/general faults.
  • Complete work to DVSA standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • MOT if you hold a license. (not essential to apply) 
The ideal Senior Technician will have:
  • Level 3 qualification or the equivalent level of skill.
  • Experience in of working in a main dealer or independent garage.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Own set of tools.
  • Previous experience working in a garage or main dealer.
