Paint Technician required in Oxted, Surrey 

  • Basic Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 – 17:00 - Saturdays optional overtime 
  • Automotive Accident Repair / Crash Repair Business

Our Client is a well-established, Insurance-approved Vehicle Accident Repair Centre with an excellent reputation in the local area for delivering high-quality work. They specialise in non-fault accident repairs and regularly handle prestige vehicles and restoration projects.

This is a great opportunity to join a thriving part of their accident repair business, working in a fully equipped workshop that is regularly updated with the latest technology.

Key Responsibilities of a Paint Technician

  • Preparing and priming vehicle bodywork to client and manufacturers' specifications.
  • Mixing and colour-matching, painting all repaired areas to a high standard, and polishing as appropriate.
  • Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Delivering excellent customer service that encourages loyalty and referrals.
  • Ensuring good housekeeping, maintaining health and safety standards, and organising administration efficient

What our client is looking for in their Paint Technician:

  • An eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Recognised qualification in Accident Repair/Bodyshop or equivalent time-served experience.
  • Previous experience in a Paint Technician role within a busy bodyshop.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality Paint repairs from start to finish.
  • Must have your own equipment and spray guns.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
  • ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential.
