Diagnostic Technician Required in Crewe
  • Multi-Franchise Dealership
  • Basic - Up to £35,000 (increasing for Master Technicians)
  • Great uncapped Bonus - OTE £44K+
  • Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 17:30pm 
  • Friday 08:00am - 16:30pm
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 08:00am - 13:00pm ( As overtime ) 
  • 25-Days holiday + bank holidays which increases to 28 days + bank holidays
Our Main Dealer client in Crewe is seeking a skilled diagnostic vehicle technician to join their dynamic and experienced workshop team. The main responsibilities for this Diagnostic Technician role include: 
  • Diagnosing Complex Symptoms: Tackle a wide range of issues across the entire spectrum of vehicle systems.
  • Manage Time Efficiently: Prioritize tasks to meet customer satisfaction without compromising quality.
  • Utilize Cutting-Edge Tools: Leverage video vehicle health assessments to identify issues and spot opportunities for upselling services.
  • Clear Communication: Keep customers and team members informed with regular updates on work progression.
  • Ongoing Training: Continuously develop your skills with a focus on emerging technologies, including electric vehicles.
  • Provide Technical Leadership: Offer coaching and guidance to colleagues, helping the team thrive.
  • Maintain a Safe, Clean Work Environment: Ensure a well-kept and secure work bay, adhering to all safety standards.
  • Perform MOTs: Carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards when required.
To be considered for this Diagnostic Technician role, you must have:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Diagnostic skill level / qualifications
  • Ideally a qualification to Level 3 standard
  • Full UK driving licence
