Our client, an Accident Repair Centre is currently seeking an experienced MET (Mechanical Electrical Trim) to join their busy workshop in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business working for Well Known Major Insurance Companies.
 
The day to day duties for the MET Technician will include:
  • Fit and strip both mechanical and body parts from vehicles including body panel, interiors, gearboxes etc. as well as minor mechanical work such as wheel alignments.
  • The MET Technician will be able to produce an extremely high quality of work in any situation and have a right-first-time approach to everything you do.
  • Reporting directly to the site Production Lead,  MET’s that remove and assess any additional damage and refit to our high standards safeguarding customer satisfaction.  
  For this role MET role you will have:
  • Great experience working as an MET Technician and a highly skilled background. 
  • You will be mostly suitable for this position if you are multi-skilled within the workshop, i.e can also do light panel work.
  • LCV experience and ATA MET accreditations are desirable.
