Vehicle Technician required in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire.

Our automotive client is an independent family run service centre which located in Bishop's Stortford continues to grow year on year, they require a fully qualified and skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. 

The owner of the business qualified as a Main Dealer Master Vehicle Technician and then branched out setting up his own business bringing with it a great deal of knowledge and experience but delivering a friendly family feel service to their customers.  

The successful candidate in this role will have a can do attitude and always be looking to improve themselves. We are looking for someone who will be wanting to grow with them. You will be welcomed into the clean and bright workshop and should you show dedication as a vehicle technician development opportunities can arise such at MOT testing.

Details & Benefits of this Vehicle Technician role:
  • Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.30pm.
  • Alternate Saturdays 8.00am-12.00pm.
  • Basic Salary: up to £37,000 basic
  • £40,600 OTE

As a Vehicle Technician you will be expected to:
  • Carrying out standard servicing, repairs and replacing damaged parts.
  • Repairing/Replacing Cambelts and Clutches.
  • Road testing the vehicle to check the repair work.
  • Fault finding using a diagnostic system.
You must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics and have at least 2-3 years post apprenticeship experience as well a capable of completing the above. If you are also a qualified MOT Tester this would be an advantage.
