MOT Tester required in Bishop’s Stortford.

We are looking for a qualified MOT tester to join our clients well-established and reputable Main Car Dealership offering high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs. As an MOT Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles meet the required safety and environmental standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, diagnosing faults, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

What's in it for you as an MOT Tester?
  • £2,000 joining bonus *paid half in your first month and the other in your 6th month of being part of the company*.
  • Monday – Friday worked 8:00am to 5:30pm.
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays worked 8:00am to 12:30pm.
  • Basic salary up to £33,000 p.a. with an OTE up to £39,600.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Experience working as an MOT Tester, performing MOT tests in line with legal and safety requirements.
  • Inspect vehicles for road-worthiness and identify faults or issues.
  • Ensure all testing procedures are followed correctly and efficiently.
  • Provide customers with accurate feedback on test results.
  • Complete necessary documentation for MOT records.
  • Assist with general garage duties as needed.
  • Full and valid MOT Tester certification.
  • A valid driving license.
The Ideal MOT Tester Candidate for this role will have a strong attention to detail, as well as a thorough understanding of Vehicles systems and MOT Testing procedures.
